Donovan Mitchell led the way for the Cavaliers with 29 points, while Luka Doncic had 26 points for the Mavericks.
The game was close throughout, with neither team leading by more than 10 points at any point. The Cavaliers took a 56-41 lead into halftime, but the Mavericks came back to tie the game in the third quarter. Mitchell hit a jumper with 1:06 remaining to give the Cavaliers the lead for good.
