Auburn Coach Hugh Freeze Addresses Michael Oher's Lawsuit

Freeze Expresses Support for Both Oher and Tuohy Family

Auburn head football coach Hugh Freeze addressed the ongoing lawsuit filed by former NFL offensive lineman Michael Oher against the Tuohy family on Thursday. Freeze, who coached Oher at Briarcrest Christian School, expressed his love for both Oher and the Tuohy family and believes the facts will ultimately prevail.

Oher's lawsuit alleges that he was exploited and manipulated by the Tuohy family, who were portrayed as his saviors in the 2009 film "The Blind Side." Freeze, who has known Oher since he was a young boy, said he has spoken to both Oher and the Tuohy family since the lawsuit was filed and believes they are all good people.

"I think the facts will come out in this case and I think they will show that the Tuohys are good people and they have done a lot for Michael," Freeze said. "I also think they will show that Michael is a good person and he has done a lot for the Tuohys. I'm confident that the truth will come out and everyone will be able to move on from this."
